In a historic announcement, MoonDAO has declared its mission to send Frank White — philosopher, author, and originator of the Overview Effect concept — to space.
Frank White first coined the term "Overview Effect" in his 1987 book of the same name, describing the profound cognitive shift in awareness reported by astronauts who view Earth from space. For nearly four decades, White has advocated for making this transformative experience more widely accessible to humanity.
MoonDAO, a decentralized space exploration organization, believes that sending the very person who identified and named this phenomenon to experience it firsthand would be a powerful moment for the Overview Effect movement and for the broader mission of conscious space exploration.
